Conformance target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. This target reflects our goal; it is not a claim of certification or a guarantee that every element meets every success criterion.
Measures we have taken
- Semantic landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer) and a "skip to content" link.
- Keyboard operability for interactive controls, with a visible keyboard focus indicator.
- Text alternatives on images and labelled form fields with accessible validation messages.
- Support for reduced-motion preferences and pausing of decorative motion.
- Color contrast reviewed against WCAG AA thresholds for body text, controls, and accents.
- Support for browser zoom and text resizing, and reflow without horizontal scrolling at narrow widths.
- Interactive controls sized to meet the WCAG 2.2 minimum target size.
- Form validation messages announced to assistive technology, with focus moved to the first field needing attention.
Known limitations
We are aware of the following and are working to address them:
- Some product-catalog sections use a flat heading order within long grids; screen-reader users can still navigate by landmarks and links.
- Product images and specification documents are hosted on manufacturer websites; their accessibility is outside our control.
- Our "Request a Quote" form has been reviewed for keyboard and screen-reader use. Any third-party or embedded content added in the future will be reviewed for accessibility before it goes live.
Compatibility
The site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge) and common screen readers. It may not work with older or unsupported technologies.
